Uncharted Game Series: A Last Look at Nathan’s Legacy || Rolm

“Uncharted 4 was one of our best-selling games, and we’re able to put our final brushstroke on that story and say that we’re done. We’re moving on.”Neil Druckmann recently said in an interview with Buzzfeed.

As seen above, the co-president of Naughty Dog has finally made it clear to put an end to the long-running chapter of Uncharted games. Back in the day, the series captivated us with its mesmerizing treasure-hunting gameplay and practically raised the bar for single-player games of the time.

In Uncharted, players assume the role of Nathan Drake who is a treasure hunter. Seemingly, he is the descendant of the famous explorer, Francis Drake, and loves setting out on dread-filled thrilling adventures.

Now that the series has finally been concluded, it is the perfect opportunity to throw a glimpse back and see what each game was about.

Conclusion

Although there has been another Uncharted video game after Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, it was a standalone title that did not feature Nathan.

Currently, Naughty Dog is actively working on The Last of Us multiplayer version and considering a third installment in the series as well. So, it is safe to say that the Uncharted game series has finally met the end of its journey.
